Using Blackmagic Camera as a DSLR Camera

PostFri Aug 09, 2024 10:39 pm

Howdy,
I may have misread an online ad/article, but it looked like, or I thought that I had read, that Blackmagic Cameral would make my iPhone 15 Pro actually perform more like a true DSLR camera. So far, I can get it to take video with no problem. I have tried looking in settings that I might could change, but did not see anything that jumped out at me. I have tried searching online to see if there were any instructions on how to do it.

So, I thought that I would reach out to the community here.
I would appreciate any advice that you could give me,

You're wanting the Blackmagic Camera app to do stills?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

You can see and choose and fix iso, shutter speed, compression quality, manual focus and more…
If you not search these features you not need them :-) and default camera is good for you.

Exactly.
It sounded like Blackmagic would offer more photo stills options.
