Trying to record using blackmagic camera app, iphone 15 pro max using a rode video micro II, a usb-c hub, and samsung t5 ssd.
If I record directly to the app with the Rode mic without the hub and no external ssd, the audio records just fine.
If i connect the hub and connect Rode mic and ssd to the hub, and record to ssd, audio records a consistent “pop” sound in consistent intervals- about 1/2 second apart. It can be seen in the audio meter on the app even if there is no ambient sound in the room. Something is causing an internal "pop."
This is the hub I'm using (recommended in a Youtube video for the BM app and Iphone - via Amazon)
