Blank, White Screen on Studio Camera 4K Plus G2

PostFri Nov 15, 2024 6:26 pm

I just received my Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K G2, but when I turned it on, I'm simply greeted with a white screen on the camera's monitor. I tried several options and tried adjusting the white balance, but nothing works. If I put something in front of the lens, it looks like a shadow. Any suggestions?

Had this on a BM cam, DOA unfortunately. Return it rather than hassle with an RMA.

Good Luck

Jut to be sure, you have put a lens on the camera, right? Can you post which lens you are using?

I just ordered another lens to see if that fixes anything. I went with Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Power O.I.S. Lens. I should get it in tomorrow, so I will let you know.
