Where do I get control camera app for 6KPro?

PostSun Dec 08, 2024 11:24 pm

I have the old Blackmagic Control Camera App on my Samsung S20 android from years ago. It connects to my 6KPro, but doesn't show 6K codecs.
I would like to update this app, but can't find it in Play Store.
When looking in Play at my installed apps, I can't see the installed Blackmagic app.

How can I upgrade to the newest Control Camera app version so I can control my 4K and my 6K Pro?

My understanding is that the only camera control app that BMD actually maintains—and even then, the word "maintains" is doing some heavy lifting—is the iPadOS app. I don't think BMD is all that interested in doing anything besides supplying an API to third party developers. As an iOS user I am running "Bluetooth+ for Blackmagic Cameras" and it seems to be working well enough.
