Hi all,
I have a very silly question on how to connect a
RØDE Wireless PRO microphone system to a
ZOOM F6 recorder.
My current setup is: 2x BMPCC4K + 1x BMMSC4KG2 + Zoom F6 (all running permanently attached Detity TC-1 timecode generators) for shooting a video podcast "style" interviews of (currently) 2 "talking head" talents + a "general point of view" from one of the cameras shooting both of the talents. In the near future I'd like to be able to add another camera for a third "talking head" talent. So far so good.
I also have the RØDE Wireless PRO system and my idea is to use it to give each of the talents her/his own lab microphone transmitter connected to the single receiver and plug the receiver into the Zoom F6, however I'd like to have the two lab mics recorded on separate tracks for post processing for obvious reasons (i.e. one of the talents speaking too low and so on).
My question is: can I use the
RØDE SC11 cable plugged into the RØDE Receiver (the TRS stereo jack) and the plug the two separate TRS (mono??) outputs into two separate
RØDE VXLR+ adapters plugged in directly into the Zoom F6? The RØDE website states that the SC11 is intended to be used to connect two microphones into a single stereo input, but I'd like to use it the other way around.
Does anyone see any problem with my intended setup?
