Hey everyone,
I just purchased a used Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K from MPB Europe and received it today. The unit I received has an extremely loud buzzing sound coming from the fan.
Before this, l used a BMPCC 4K, and the fan noise on that was nowhere near as loud as what I'm experiencing with this 6K. This noise is so bad that it would definitely get picked up in quiet scenarios, like interviews.
I've already contacted MPB's customer service about this, but I wanted to check with the community:
• Is this kind of noise normal for a BMPCC 6K?
• Has anyone else experienced unusually loud fan noise with their camera?
• Should I consider returning it as a defective unit?
