DJI FOCUS PRO on 12K

I was intrigued by the DJI Focus Pro when I first heard about it. On run and gun shoots, it would be nice to have auto focus using a Blackmagic Camera and a Cine Lens, but does this thing really do the job? As a goal to learn it and test it, I made this video if you want to check it out. It's not a paid review. Just my opinion. It took forever to get (because it was out of stock for a long time).

I used one almost all summer on a VRaptor with Lecia R's, the AC on a 3 month feature had it and I loved how easy it was. Never had any issues so I decided to buy one for my personal use. I got as far as unwrapping it and putting it in its case. Been 5 months and I never even had the desire to reach for it.

If anyone is interested in it, I can ship anywhere in the US for 825 (creator combo)

Did you get a good sense of the maximum distance it was accurate? I could use something that worked at least up to 20 meters but I’m not aware of anyone demonstrating its effectiveness at the far end.

Thanks guys for the kind words! I'm not sure the distance that it can spot a subject. I was using my lens at 50mm all the way open when I did the test, so where I showed the shot, in the video, I was many feet away, but not 20 meters.

It's a cool gadget for sure!

if there is no object in range, the Focus Pro goes near infinity or infinity. And when an object comes into range, the motor starts working again. It's a really good system.

However, as the thefilmaddict said, I also had to wait a very long time to finally get hold of this tool. I need more time to tell more.
