I tried this today and couldn't get it to work either.
Maybe the Camera Control app is meant to work only when there are multiple cameras present? Or perhaps it won't work with the iPhone Blackmagic Camera App?
iPad Pro 13" iOS 18.2.1, bluetooth enabled, set to Control
iPhone 14 Pro iOS 18.2.1, bluetooth enabled, BM Camera App 2.2 installed, set to Remote Camera
Both on same 5G network.
The iPhone never shows up on the Control app.
That said, I installed the BM Camera app on the iPad as well, and was able to connect and control the phone from the Camera app, but not from the Control app.
Is the iPad Control app supposed to work with the iPhone app as a remote camera? Does it require two or more active cameras before it will connect to them?
Would love to get it working, if that's how it's supposed to function.
