Wireless Lens Motors with UC12K Communication?

PostSat Feb 01, 2025 4:25 am

I'd love to know which Lens Motor Systems have been optimized to work with the URSA Cine 12K. For example Arri Hi-5, Teradek CTLR.5, or Tilta Nucleus. Which ones have it that when you plug in the 7-Pin Lemo does the Hand Unit get camera data from through the wireless motor connection?

And, for Dumb Lenses, which work best with the UC12K lens mapping for values to show up in camera? For example Teradek can lens map dump lenses and save the profile. Could this profile be transmitted to camera. Maybe even get the lens data into the camera without needing /i Technology.

Just some ideas and questions. I really want to push Tilta to do a Nucleus M Mark 2 this year that has lens mapping capabilities.

And, maybe a Blackmagic Lens Motor and Hand Unit can come to be that works even better with the whole system.
