Ghost Frame option for Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K LF?

PostFri Apr 18, 2025 1:01 am

For some reason I never asked this question at NAB, I think just because Blackmagic has never been in this discussion. I am wondering if Blackmagic has any plans to enable the Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K LF camera to do ghost framing? Essentially allowing the camera to record both an LED volume image and a Green Screen image by capturing multiple sub-frames within the same recording.

Red calls it GhostFrame, or Frame Remapping, other manufactures call it Sub-Frame Virtual Production.

I feel like with the 8tb modules it has the capture speed, just not sure if it would have the processing speed.
