Pyxis Monitor Kit Mount

Just received my monitor kit and wondered - what is this mount for??
I understand the other two pieces, but haven't a clue how the circled one is used and can't find any description of it online.

Any ideas?

The part you have circled is for attaching to the EVF bracket.
