I have been talking with Adam B from support, and maybe it can be supported in a frimware updates, so I will request a support for a wide variety of disks. As you state, some not listed willo work. Thats the case that i have been working wot a pair of samgung 700 evo since the production camera k. Those were used in the production 4k, ursa mini pro, pocket 4k, 6k and pyxis without problems.
Now i am testing a generic m2 ssd case with a kingston m2 ssd, and the results are great. On the pyxis, open gate 6k 36fps no drops.
My point is as i told Adam, is that broad the support form more disks, thats the real game changer in the pyxis, a camera that is sold as the most configurable of the market.
