Hello,
I have a BMPCC 6K, and most of the center portion of the touchscreen stopped working a while ago. While I can still touch the border of the screen, the center remains unresponsive. Since the camera is no longer under warranty, the Blackmagic team estimated the repair costs to be around $300 USD.
I had been using the Bluetooth+ app to remotely control the camera, and it worked fine—until I updated to the latest firmware. After the update, I noticed that Bluetooth is OFF by default, and since I can't access that part of the screen, I'm unable to turn it back on.
Is there a way to install a beta update or another firmware version that has Bluetooth enabled by default so I can reconnect to the Bluetooth+ app? Additionally, would it be possible to suggest to the Blackmagic team that future updates have Bluetooth set to ON by default?
Thank you!
