Arri NIA-1 Works with URSA Cine

PostSun Jun 08, 2025 2:43 am

Been busy on a gig the last week, and will continue working the next couple of days. But I caught this new Arri device and was impressed that they also have support for the URSA Cine line:

I'm playing catch up with all the CineGear news. But some exciting new products. Wish I could have gone this year. Especially for the BMD Presentation on the URSA Cine 12K and 17K.

Either way this new Arri product seems pretty exciting for the way it works with the URSA Cine 12K and more than likely the URSA Cine 17K. Sadly it does require a paid license to unlock it.

That Arri is adding protocol support for the Ursa Cine says a lot about BMD's status in the filmmaking world.
