URSA Cine menu dial not working

Hi, can anyone help? I dont know how to get the Menu Dial to do anything on a my BM URSA cine 12K FF. I am keen to make a UW housing for it , and have been trying to nut out the controls to suit this as the touch screen wont work here. I have been trying to use the menu dial- something I really haven't used before, but I think I tried to change various controls with this with my old 4.6k G2 URSA. But I can seem to make the dial do anything. The F1 button is preset on zoom- and it will zoom in with that- but I cant make it do anything else. Is there something more to this that I am missing? I have a few questions:
1) is the switch set to “Monitor” setting? The middle setting “Monitor” is needed for the dial to control the EVF UI. Otherwise “H Phone” controls volume for headphones, and “Iris” controls aperture of lens.

2) are you looking through the EVF or PYXIS Monitor? This control only works for the UI control of the front USB-C of the EVF or PYXIS Monitor. It will not have monitor control of any other monitor.

3) are you pushing the dial button to activate it? You should press the dial in to range the button part in order to see a Blue Indicator around the selected UI control. Then turning the dial will change the selection. Press dial button again for enter. The “Back” button next to the dial takes you back.

I hope some of this helps. Mine works exactly as it’s supposed to. If anything reading the manual can also expand on how this dial works.
