Yeah, doesn't the LA7200 have a really big front element? My adapter is like 77mm on front and back. I think that may be the reason why I can't get wider.


Yes, you're right. It has a wide square front, which is the biggest advantage ... I tried various anamorphic adapters/projection lenses. Iscos, Kowas as well as Bausch & Lomb's. None of them have this wide FOV and sharpness ... And as it fits on almost every kind of lens I decided to go with this one.
