Buy Blackmagic cinema camera in Europe or cheaper in US? Does it has the same things on it, do you need adapting things etc to the europe system? What is included when you buy standard BMcinemacamera?
thx a lot ;-) Carl

The camera and package is the same no matter where you buy it. It's a world camera.

There is a long back-order worldwide so no matter where you purchased it from you would be waiting for it.

The pricing is pretty similar no matter where you buy it. If you purchased outside of your territory you would probably end up paying shipping, duties and taxes that would out weigh the saving in cost.

but I am in the states soon, ;-) in Belgium you don t have many shops who have it yet... it s very unknown ;-)
What is the big difference with this cam comparing to PAL SECAM troubles of other cams? I mean, it s a universal cam so it cam be ideal for clips, cinematic movie, documentary, independent film, etc? And cam you take photos with it? And what a bout the sound, can you plug a studio microphone on it? Thx a lot... ;-)

Hi Carl,

I think you might find it helpful to look through the basic product information, Tech Specs on our website, and the BMCC manual.

Specs: http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/product ... techspecs/
Manual: http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/media/4 ... Manual.pdf

If you're headed to the US soon, it's unlikely that you'll be able to buy one off the shelves of a shop, if that's what you're hoping for. All of the camera resellers around the world are still working through their preorder lists.
