But to answer your question, you need a Mac Pro and ATTO SAS/RAIDs with a CUBIX PCI Expander loaded with a few CUDA capable cards. We use Quadro 4000 to get DNG files to playback real time on Resolve.
The I/O helps playback the files but the CUDA pushes it further for grading.

Indeed it is better in so many ways.
But I dont decide all the purchases.
For my own personal use, I would go with the GTX.

original bmcc footage drop in my pc, and i have i7 2600k 16ram gtx 560 ti
