I've used the Kipon adapter on an AF100 with very poor results. With the 'aperture' behind the lens it suffered from serious vignetting issues. I also wasn't impressed with the build quality.
With Canon lenses I've been using the Redrock adapter. It allows you to control the electronic iris in the Canon lens. More expensive but it works.
Or you can do the old trick of keeping a Canon DSLR body handy and set the aperture with it, then pop the lens onto the BMCC.
