Red rolling shutter solution vs BM4k

So I can either buy a Black Magic Production camera 4k for $3995 or I can buy ONLY the fix for RED's rolling shutter for $4500....

And the in-built NDs of that solution? That's one hell of an addition.

The 4k BM camera is a nice looking piece of kit but still lacks much of the features of the Epic people will be putting that mount on.

Oversimplified comparisons are to be avoided for a reason....

Blackmagic is shaking up the market the way Red did all those years back. I don't think it's fair to compare the two, as I believe that the products are totally different beasts. The Motion Mount is a killer modular addition that adds unbelievable features to a high end system.

Being modular is one thing that RED does extremely well.
