Which SSD Card for Compressed

PostTue Apr 09, 2013 7:11 pm

Hi,

This website (http://aaronnanto.com/qualified-ssds-fo ... ma-camera/) has me confused. It has a list of recommended SSD cards for uncompressed and compressed shooting. Does it matter? I'm going to be shooting compressed. This is the card I'd like to get (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... T512M4SSD2) Will it work? Or are there cards that only work for compressed and only for uncompressed?

Thanks.

The Crucial M4 512GB SSD are only supported for firmware release 0009 which is an older version that what you can purchase now. Consult the threads here on SSDs as well as BMD's Support webpages.

Am using Crucial M4 SSD 512 Go for a few month now and had no trouble at all recording PRO_RES into 3 Shuttles.
My firmware is 000F.
Haven't tested Uncompressed.

Cheers

Just get the SanDisk Extreme series of SSDs they work wonders, and you can get them for a good price online.

SSD is not a card.
