Control aperture using LANC controller

PostTue May 21, 2013 3:50 am

I'm trying to find out if the camera's iris can be controlled via LANC controller. Official word from Blackmagic is that:

"The Blackmagic Cinema Camera currently supports the following LANC controllers with record start/stop triggers, Iris control and focus control - Manfrotto MVR901EPLA"

So I've grabbed the mentioned Manfrotto LANC which has record/zoom & focus control, but I'm trying to figure out if it can be used to control aperture as mentioned as well. Zoom isn't much use with the lenses I'm using, is it possible to reprogram the LANC to control aperture instead of zoom?
