Another problem with BMPCC, How to update lens firmware.

PostFri Aug 16, 2013 2:18 pm

I haven't receive my BMPCC yet and I just found a problem with the lens firmware.

I don't have Panasonic camera, none of my friends buy Panasonic camera too. If I buy a Panasonic lens and use it on my BMPCC, How can I update the lens firmware in the future ? ^_^

That's not a problem with the camera, that's a problem with the lens you chose.

Buy or rent a compatible camera if you need to update the lens firmware.

A lens shouldn't have a firmware in the first place

True! but the tech junkie talking in me finds the Sigma USB lens dock that let you update firmware and adjust focus and other parameters interesting
