What exactly is the problem with getting mass BMPC's made 2

:o

Its not nice to lock topic like that  Have you guys any trouble with serious criticism?

So here is topic no.2 and we promise we will kind to each other.

1) a COMMERCIAL TRICK (STRATEGY)
At this time it is announced a few comparable News - BMD knew it could not meet in July = but took customers away from competitors' products. (If I'm right than saying **** *** and cancelling my order.)

2) a HUMAN MISTAKE
Someone from the marketing department should find a new job. (Even Apple does not do it. Remember last event with LOGIC X, they were pretty silent and than BOOM - functional new version is out if they are sure they will manage it. Or does that Canon Or Sony as any rule?)

3) a SUBCONTRACTORS (MISSING COMPONENTS or CAPACITY)
Well, is time have a look for better business partners ... or next time keep your mouth shut if is not 1st delivery ready.

(Sorry for expressive, but in my country we speak like that. I bet BMD does their best.)

Hi, Josh. Nice to hear somebody from BMD. But how is your reply answering of question in topic subject? In EU or US we call it OFF Topic. How is it in Skippy's land?

For clarification, it wasn't the criticism of the company that caused the thread to be locked, it was the abusive nature towards other users.

Questions on manufacturing, delivery, and production will get no answers. I'm just not understanding why Blackmagic would suggest that we could get any accurate info from the resellers, when Blackmagic knows that their authorized resellers have no clue or info on when we will receive our orders.

As Tony mention, this is not about criticism of Blackmagic, but rather how people were talking to each other in the post. Criticism is not inherently bad, as it can help bring visibility to issues, which in turn can effect how things get handled. It doesn't always, but as long as the criticism in constructive, it's welcomed.

There is also a lot of speculation on subject matter that we are simply not going to talk about. Most of this speculation is based on assumption and ends up spreading misinformation. We tell you what we can, and we don't comment on the stuff we can't. May not be exactly what you were looking for, but that doesn't change the answer.

And that's all we ask. So long as it remains so, we won't have a problem.

Fair enough. It was a bit off topic, however I felt the information was still relevant. It was also the only answer that I had to give to you on the general subject matter.

I just want to clarify; are we talking about the BMPC as in the Black Magic Production camera, or meaning the BMPCC, the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera? These acronyms are driving me nuts!

LoL I was just advised that I should use said acronyms instead of the ones I've been using because they're easier to understand.

I guess not!
