The Metabones 0.58x Speed Booster for the OG BMPCC has glass elements about 10mm below the flange surface. The M42 to Nikon F adapters that offer infinity focus have a 1.4x tele glass element that looks like it would use up all of that distance or more. Even if it did fit, would a tele element work right up against a wide angle set of optics?
The reviews of these cheap adapters on BHPhotovideo.com complain about softness, fog and middle spot flares. They say that they are unusable below F/2.8-5.6, even with a fast lens.
An adapter that does not have a tele glass element would not be able to focus on infinity and would only be good for macro shots.
