Yeah, seems to be for everyone. Hopefully BM will fix it because it still says 75 fps in the new manual.

Updated my BMPCC4K yesterday. Also lost 4K 75fps but i have more issues with 7.9 update.
1. Shutter lag about 1 sec between press rec and recording starts/stops, 7.3 was way quicker. Lag apears with both rec buttons and screen buttton with various codec settings and resolution.
2. Leica 12-60 f/2.8-4 recognised as f/3-4.2 and aperture control is verry inconsistent. Sometimes it switch after one klick of wheel, sometimes after 4 clicks. Other lenses works normaly, as it was.
3. EXIF of DNG photos with leica 12-60 now broken and in PS displays f/0.77 with any focal length and aperture settings.
4. Pressing AF button with Leica 25/1.4 leeds to complettly stops working focus to next power cycle, even manual focus dosn't work until power off/on.

I had the same feeling after testing 7.9 - pressing record felt a bit laggy compared to older firmwares.
Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.

I just posted about this in the 7.9 firmware update thread. I counted about a full second sometimes on the beginning and tail ends of start/stop. Really glad to know that others have experience this to some extent as well.

Hoping for this to get fixed as well when they roll another update out to remedy the 75 FPS issue.

Seems like the 7.9 update may have caused a problem recording to my Samsung T5 2TB.
When I hit stop the rec light and time counter stay red.
The only way I can clear it is by powering off or pulling the drive cable (corrupting the footage).
I’m using a pocket 4k powered from the mains power supply/charger so presuming it’s not power related, using the Samsung T5 2TB connected with a fasgear 10Gbps USB C cable I’ve seen recommended in the facebook group (or original T5 cable) recording 4k DCI Q3 which looks to be approved for the T5 by BM.

In the Facebook group I've been recommended to revert back to 7.3 but I thought I would post here for other people's info.
Will revert the FW and report back.
As a side note I bought a T7 drive and the same thing was happening, I sent it back and got the T5 because I thought the drive was the problem.
Also means I wont get to play with the gyro feature so I hope BM fix and update the problems asap.
