1.5x De-Squeeze Option

Hello,

Laowa has released their EF-Mount 1.5x Squeeze ratio anamorphic lenses compatible for the BMPCC 6K/6K Pro. Is it possible we could get a 1.5x de-squeeze option in-camera with the next firmware update like we currently have with the 1.33x de-squeeze option? Thank you.

I’ve been seeing some 3rd party lens manufacturers coming out with the 1.5x squeeze anamorphics. I’m not sure if this is a new trend and they have it in EF mounts as well. It will be nice if they would add a 1.5x de-squeeze in their next firmware for all BMPCC and URSA 4.6K G2 and 12K Not just on the newer models. Would love to have it on the BMPCC 6K G1 also.

with the sure-to-be-popular Altas Mercury 1.5x Anamorphics coming out next year, this would be a great idea.
I mean, I pre-ordered mine, so yeah, haha. I want the 1.5x de-squeeze!
