I pre-ordered my BMDCC on July 2nd 2012, and it has been shipped (March 14th) to arrive in McAllen TX tomorrow afternoon (March 19th). Handles were free when I pre-ordered eight months ago, and because of the big delay, B&H upgraded my (free) shipping to 3-day...

Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Revised order July 18 to include free handles offer
BH says this order revision didn't affect my place in line- but it did.
Called last week and complained people well after May getting cameras.
Got mine today.
Can't say I'm happy I waited a few extras weeks but at least they responded to my inquires and made it right.
It's all over. And I'm so damn happy it is.

I also ordered July 29th and I show a shipping label created as of today 3/22/13 but it is not in the UPS system.

Funny enough, I also ordered from Adorama on 2/7/13 and it shipped yesterday. I'm shooting an indie feature and decided to keep both and may sell one after I've done principal photography.

I doubt we will hear an update until April 1 or 3rd....BH and is Hasid Jew store, so they are closed for the next week to honor the religious holidays. I am so close!

Getting real nervous Blackmagic.....I just lost 2 jobs I was up for because of this wait.....the cameras at 2 rental houses here in the city were either rented out or had malfunctions. I ordered September but now regret placing my order with B&H.

If you're losing jobs because you booked them when you didn't own a camera, that's no ones fault but your own... There are other cameras on the market readily available for rent/purchase to pay your bills in the meantime.

I cannot believe NAB 2013 is almost here and this is still a problem. If Sony or another competitor can duplicate, or get close to the quality/price point of the BMCC, it's lights out for them. I'm a big fan of this camera, but this kind of delay makes me lose confidence. If anyone has orders recently, are they giving you shipping estimates?

BMD has had 2 huge obstacles/hurdles, The first one was the sensor glass,
and now the Flange Mount Focal Distance, I'm not supporting any excuse, just making you aware.

I didn't see anybody post that they ordered on August 8th and received a camera - did somebody get theirs? My order date is August 8 but my status still says the same "on order" !!!

Yes. It hasn't shipped, we haven't been charged, they just put a hold on the amount of money to make sure we have it. Thinking that it'll be shipping soon. *shrugs* but here's to hoping!

I bought and paid for mine on the 8th of August... nothing yet.

I managed to find a BMCC on ebay for $3300... so I went for it... but still waiting for two from B&H.

I canceled my order a B&H a while ago and temporarily gave up. I placed an order with Adorama March 5th and had my camera in hand yesterday. Unless a ton of people caught onto this, Adorama's 4-6 week estimate is very accurate, if anyone is further down the list at B&H and is looking for one sooner.
