An hour of Pr footage in 4k at “source” resolution is untenable for me at the studio, from home it’s impossible. When I need to upload footage for review it’s always h265, 2 hours takes about 15 minutes to render.
Good Luck
Well, yeah, I was constantly going to my mom's place for her internet when I was at the apartment that was rendered uninhabitable after Hurricane Helene. She had equal upload to the download of 400 Mb/s easily. So that was really nice internet to handle those large uploads.
I'm on the end of believing that ubiquitous 1 Gb/s internet should be all over the world now. And, it should be equal upload to the download. Thus 1 Gb/s upload would greatly help with sending files over the cloud to clients. Of course you'd need 8 Gb/s download to playback 12K Open Gate BRAW 3:1 off a Cloud Service in realtime.
