BMPCC 6K HDMI Out Framerate

Hey everyone,

I need something quick answered and I can't seem to find it on the tech specs webpage.

Does the BMPCC 6k (or even the 4k) output 60i via HDMI?

We're using two Canon XF cameras (xf100 & xf300) with our ATEM TV HD and those two cameras only output 60i over HDMI. We want to use the 6K with the ATEM and as one of our main cameras (have a bunch of Canon lenses).

I know I can solve this with a decimator or the up down cross converter Blackmagic has.

Anyone have any experience using the BMPCC 4k or 6k with an ATEM?

No, unfortunately neither the PCC4k nor the PPC6k do offer 1080i output.

Thank you for the simple but quick response!

Do you (or anyone else reading this) have much experience converting frame rate to 60i for the ATEM? I'd assume it's pretty seamless but worry about the quality or if there's any issues.

It's either the BMPCC 6K or the Canon C100 mark II. I'm pitching the 6K pretty hard haha!

If you need 1080i50/59.94 output, you should look at the Ursa Broadcast. It can be fitted with the EF mount also.

I did check this camera out but that's a bit above our budget.

The BMPCC 6K gives us more options. More mobility, easier to pack when we travel, and it can be mounted on our Ronin-M gimbal.

The C100 Mark 2 is 2999 and that much was a "maybe"
