Is it technically possible to swap out the EF mount on a BMPC 4k for an MFT mount from a BMCC 2.5k

No. The only mounts that can be removed/replaced are for the URSA Mini Pro camera.

Buy an active adapter, like metabone.

Carlo, he has an EF mount on a BM Production Camera, no Metabones active adapters are required for EF lens mount camera. Nikon and PL adapters are his only options, neither requires a smart adapter.
Cheers

To me it sounded like he wanted to have an mFT Mount on the BMPC4K which isn’t possible.

It's all a moot point now.
I bought a BMPCC 4K.

Yes, I agree Rick, and an adapter to make it work is another non starter, as Carlo thought it was the other way round.

Henchman, congrats, a good move, now you have a MFT mount?
Cheers
