HDMI out on BMPCC

PostMon Jul 29, 2013 11:33 pm

Does any one know if the HDMI out on the BMPCC can be recorded to the Hyperdeck Shuttle II. If so what type of compression would there be?

Thanks

You can record HDMI out to the hyperdeck shuttle; what compression you use on the shuttle doesn't depend on the camera, the cameras output is uncompressed. But keep in mind that recording raw in camera will give you even more bits then recording uncompressed from the hdmi out!
