Iris control on Cabrio lenses with Ursa Mini 4.6k G2

Hi Guys,

We're troubleshooting a lack of iris control on the Ursa Mini 4.6k G2 when using Fuji Cabrio 19-90 lenses (which are on the approved list of lenses) with the PL mount. We are getting the iris readings from the lenses, but there is no control. The lenses are set to servo not manual. One support technician things we might need to connect a Hirose cable from the camera to the servo. Does anyone have any experience with this that can confirm this is what you have to do? Or any other suggestions?

Thanks so much!

Marc

Yes if you want active control of the lens iris, focus and zoom on a Cabrio you need to connect the Hirose cable between the handgrip and the camera's 12-pin Lens connector.

Hi Tim,

The lens has a 20 pin hirose marked EXT and two 12 pins that are Focus and Zoom. Which one do I use?

Connect the 12 pin on the camera body to the 20 pin connector on the lens. The Fujinon part number for this cable is SA-206M-1R2.

Good Luck
