BMPCC 4k touch screen issue

I bought my bmpcc4k last Sep, and today i found the buttons in the bottom area of touch screen not responding, is this a hardware problem?

At first i doubt it is some kind of system issue and i updated the firmware to 6.8.1, after that, i stuck at the 1st step "selecting language" because after making selection, the 'Submit' button is at the bottom of the screen, and it completely not working..

i wonder if i send the camera back to fix how long that will take, it took me 2 month waiting to get the camera which is very frustrating, i am really concerned how long will the fix take

About a week, plus a couple of days for posting it back and forth.

could you solve your problem? I´m having the same issue with mine, not able to pass the first screen because the touchscreen not responding.

I returned it to black magic and they replaced the screen for me. took me about a month, and because i bought it from a local camera store, so i got a loan camera while i was waiting.

As a wild-card suggestion, lick your fingertip and try the touch command again. At my age, I find that touch controllers do not do well with my dry polished geriatric fingertips. For a troubled child of an AMX screen controlling a videoconferencing system, I found I had to keep a wet tissue handy in a spare glass to keep the fingertip damp without flooding the AMX screen.

I am having the same problem and this is the first day I am using it.
The tactile is completly off does thing by itself even calls the keyboard and start printing text into it.
Haven't used it more than an hour. Not Impressed.
I am on Firmware 8.1 Anyone doing anything about this.

Contact BMD Support for your region. They’ll likely want you to return the camera for a fix or replacement if needed.
