Fireworks & BMCC

PostTue Aug 13, 2013 1:08 pm

Hello,

I wanted to get your opinion on shooting Fireworks with the BMCC at night.

I know the camera is not a night-vision-hercules but for fireworks is the following settings enough:

in camera setting:
ASA 800
180 Degree Shutter
24fps
5600 Kelvin

lenses:
Canon EF f2.8 70-200mm
Canon EFS f3.5 16-200mm

Here's a couple fireworks I shot at the end of this video.

I used 1600 ISO at 30fps 180d. Cinema tools to conform to 24.
