Specs are often difficult to compare due to different standards :(

BMPCC and BMCC has a dynamic range of 13 stops.

Canon C100 has a dynamic range of 800%.

How many stops is 800%, and how many percent is 13 stop?

"ISO range of 320-20,000 with wide dynamic range (12 stops achievable when shooting Canon Log Gamma or Wide DR Gamma)"

Somehow I doubt it's 12 stops though. I've graded C300 footage and the dynamic range wasn't nearly as good as the BMCC's.

Ok thanks!

Excellent work by the way! very beautiful.

I wonder how BMPCC will perform in this environment?

Thanks, glad you liked it! I'd love to put my cinematographic vision to use on a narrative project, but scripts and funding don't just come flying ;)

From experience with the BMCC, ProRes footage holds up quite well in low-ish light. From the demo footage I've seen of the BMPCC, it's very similar, if not the same. As far as I know, if the BMPCC initially only shoots ProRes, the dynamic range may be limited to around 11 stops. Once compressed (lossless) RAW is enabled on the BMPCC via a Firmware upgrade, 13 stops of dynamic range will be possible, just like with the BMCC.
