Nikon speedbooster Help!

If I buy the BMCC MFT and the Nikon G to MFT speedbooster, what Nikon lenses will be available for me?

Is there a list I can consult on this forum?

Will I have to deal with vignetting issues or any other kind of issues??

I'm thinking of going ALL NIKON because their lenses are affordable and they pretty much work on any camera.

Thanks for your suggestions.

The cameras mft mount is passive, the speedbooster doesn't change that. This means you can use any lens that can be driven fully manually, no powered zoom or image stabilisation available. All Nikon stills lenses should cover the BMCCs sensor, even using the speedbooster.

Using stills lenses for filming has its perks though. You should read up on "parfocal lenses" and their advantages (in short: lenses that keep focus while zooming). Most stills lenses are not parfocal.

Short answer:
Yes, virtually all Nikkor lenses should work with Speed Booster, without vignetting.

Long answer:
The following info from Metabones should help: http://www.metabones.com/buy-speed-boos ... ter-detail and http://www.metabones.com/speed-booster-questions .

You will see on the first link that Metabones lists incompatible lenses: Nikkor 2.1cm/f4 and Nikkor 20m/f2.8 AI-S.

You'll find interesting information on another thread here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9683. Especially helpful are the insights and comments from brianc1959, the actual designer of the optics for the Speed Booster. Brian even explains how to get that Nikkor 20mm/f2.8 AI-S to actually work with Speed Booster.

you can also use the nikon G lenses because the metabones M43 to Nikon speedbooster has a nice machined stopped dial which allows you to manually dial the aperture.
