Exposure tips for the BMCC

I got tired of waiting for the BMPCC and bought the BMCC with Sigma 18-35 f1.8. I've got a shoot coming in a couple of days and i'm mostly worried about exposure. I've heard that you should set the zebras to 100% and expose to the right. Does this mean that I turn the aperture (or variable ND) until clipping occurs and then come back one stop so the image is free from clipping? Of course some parts of the image are bound to clip, like windows, but is this the correct way?

Generally when shooting RAW or ProRes Film it best to set zebras to 100% and then adjust your exposure so that anything in you scene that you don't want clipped has no zebras.
Things like the sun of naked light bulbs will clips but then you would expect them to.
In some cases the difference between your highlights and your shadows will be much greater then the 13 stops of range that the camera can capture. In those cases you will need to decide what is more important. Let the highlights clip or lose the detail in the shadows? Clipped highlights roll of really nicely on the BMCC, much better than how DSLRs deal with it.
