I have been informed that the BMD recommended Sandisk 240gb SSD that I ordered has been discontinued. The alternative offered is the Adata XPG SX910 240gb which is not on the BMD list. While the specs are up there with the Sandisk I would be interested to know if anyone has used these drives successfully or should be avoided.
With new SSDs being released all the time it might be helpful if the recommended drives on the FAQ page included a date the list was posted.

I use lots of ADATA products, never used their SSD's but they are a very reliable company.

I've used an SSD not on the recommended list before. Trust me, you don't want to put yourself through that nightmare. If the Sandisks have been discontinued, then it'd have been very recent. You should probably be able to find someone selling them new pretty easily.
