The reflective screen on the BMCC can be a pain. Has anyone effectively tried this product? Is it a viable solution?

Matte-finish anti-glare films work OK considering how inexpensive they are, but of course they're not a perfect solution.

if they easily come off - any chance of a photo demonstration?

I've used the 3M film and it's "easy" to apply & remove (can be done more than once with the same piece of film.

The reason I put "easy" in quotes is because, as noted in my blog post, it's actually a pain to apply these films without getting small air bubbles trapped between the film & the screen. It usually takes a few tries to get it perfect. So, applying & removing the film more than once is usually part of the process. So, so it's easy and also a pain. ;-)

As noted in the blog post, anti-glare film slightly reduces the sharpness of the screen (adds some blur). They eliminate most reflections, but not all.

It's not a perfect solution, and BMD camera LCDs aren't a substitute for a good EVF or external monitor, but the anti-glare film is cheap & the cams' LCDs are built-in (and don't require additional power, cables, add size & weight, etc.).

YMMV.
