Vintage Lenses

PostThu Sep 20, 2012 8:11 pm

So with all the different lenses that will now be available, I'm asking all you experts out there is it worth getting vintage lenses. Stuff like the Angenieux, Wollensak and even trying to rig some of the old 16mm lens used on te old bolex style cameras?

I suppose the easy answer is - if it covers the sensor, then yes!

But until the MFT vesion is out we're not going to see any examples are we. Ok then, in prep for that any more experienced heads out there can give us a list or an idea of great old lenses to look out for. I'm always seeing things like this on ebay.

Is there anyone who could give a say an example kit of great old lens to use with both the MFT and the EF versions. Evneif we have to use convertors.
