BMCC EF - speedbooster

PostFri Aug 23, 2013 9:37 am

Hi there.
Im using nikon glass with the BMCC EF. (I got that before the MFT came out)
I wonder if there is any chance of using a speedbooster with the bmcc ef by using an adapter in between them.
somenthing like this:
BMCC EF + EF to MFT adaptor + MFT to nikon speed booster.
I know its not ideal. but just wondering if it would work, or any other combination for the BMCC EF - like EF to sony E + E speedbosster to nikon......

Unfortunately no. This has been addressed many times. The EF Flange distance simply does not make this possible. The only way to get a speedbooster on an EF BMCC would be to have someone literally cut the EF mount, and engineer/build/install you a shorter one. Which kinda defeats the purpose of a $2,000 camera.
