emergency, interview and no mic!

guys,

i have an interview in 2 hours, my rod mic got broken..
I NEVER used my BMCC without the mic, so i don't know what the results will be...


any suggestions on the settings?
general suggestions?
will the audio be good enough at the end?

If you have an iphone you can download RODE Rec, it's an app that let's you record high quality sound into your phone. Then just find a place to put it so the bottom of the phone (the mic) is pointed towards your subject, either on a table or gaffed to a C stand above them or something like that. It's not an ideal solution but it's better than the internal mic on the BMCC.

And just as an FYI to what was posted earlier you can also use you IPhone headphones as a lapel microphone.

Definitely avoid the internal microphone because of the fan noise. If you can pass by an electronics shop, maybe you can still buy one, if not, I'd probably use my iPhone.
