I wish someone would do some kind of audio test with the Pocket camera. I know most people will record sound separate some will want to use the cam for run and gun and need at least decent audio as a bed for other audio.

I wish someone would just plug video mic into it and do a close to subject interview. I guess this is a request as well as a question if anyone already has done a test.

I'll see if I can't do something like this tomorrow while shooting a short film we're working on.

Awesome! I think quite a few people would be interested to hear the result.

I've got the Rode VideoMic Pro, so I'll toss it on the Pocket Cam to do some cast/crew BTS interviews. I'll have them posted by Monday.

Given the lack of audio meters, I wonder if you overdrive it does it go into distortion or do limiters kick in. Maybe a tougher test would be to see if there are any frequency response issues relative to what one would expect to hear with a given mic.

I will try and do some tests on Monday and post my results.
