Is there any hope in still color correcting and grading this?

I thought the FILM and VIDEO dynamic range only applied to Pro-res files not Raw?

I believe you can only choose 'film' when shooting raw. Are you sure you're not referring to the display mode? That doesn't effect the clip, only effects the playback.

Yeah when you shoot RAW you cannot select VIDEO, it's always only FILM. It's the way the DNGs are being displayed that's throwing you off. What are you looking at them in?
Finder, Preview, Adobe RAW, Resolve (by default) display it as more saturated and with more contrast.

Oh my goodness. Yes I was just quickly previewing them in finder. Man my heart sunk when I saw the clips in finder and I'm so so so relieved! Man thanks for the fast reply!!!!

If you shot RAW then you're fine.
Simply load it into resolve and choose the BMD FILM option in the camera handler.
This is also a real names forum.
