BMPC White balance

PostThu Aug 29, 2013 1:15 pm

Nearly all the raw Prores footage I've seen done by the camera seems to render a blueish look. Is that the native image or aren't people increasing the Kelvin for outside shots? Only Bloom's footage so far seems to look 'normal'.

(please don't shoot me down - just asking thats all). ;)

Could you post a screenshot of the "blueish" vs. the "normal" look so everyone on the forum can judge properly? At least I need this to give you more than a guess about the problem.

Thanks,
Sebastian-Alex.

You could use grey chart to use in grading if it helps you determine neutral balance better.

In raw you have more control over color temperature.
