Raw archiving

I wonder if someone have the same problem / idea.

I have some tv ad material that i have shot in raw but somehow it does not make sense to
archive it all in raw. The likeliness that i have to go back to originals is really small.

Have not tested it out but maybe prorez 4444 would be good alternative for archiving purpose ?

Any ideas?

Perhaps in the future, you can include the cost of a hard disk in your contract and give the client the raw files so you aren't responsible for maintaining it.

It is not that much about the cost but more what would be reasonable.

That got me wondering in tech aspect.

I just bought 2x 4TB USB3 drives for £250 in the UK. Prices of large capacity drives are dropping.
