Black lines on PocketCamera 6K over HDMI

PostWed Nov 18, 2020 11:24 pm

Hey guys,

All of my pocket camera 6ks seem to not be able to output 6k, 4k or 1080 over HDMI, the closest I get is 5.7K and its driving me crazy because I'm seeing black lines on the top and bottom of the picture ... I use these cameras a lot for streaming through an ATEM Mini Pro ISO and can't find any way to zoom the picture in when mixing or streaming live; I can fix this with a 1.07x zoom in Resolve for post, but when using the live feed I'm not sure how to fix this through the cameras or the ATEM Mini Pro ISO.... help would be super appreciated! :)

Thanks,
Qasim

I don’t have this gear, but would sending 4K from the BMPCC6K solve the issue? I may be wrong but I thought HDMI was limited to a maximum of 4K.

The camera only outputs HD. Set the Braw recording to 6144X3456 prior to plugging in the AMP. That should get you the correct aspect, sounds like the cam is currently 17:9 @ 5744 x 3024.

The relevant bit is at the end.
