Does BMD Pocket battery go to 100% ?

Just got my BMD Pocket camera (no orbs, but black sun, need to update) --

Does the battery gauge ever reach 100%? I charged it for almost 2 hours, and it still reads 99%.

No, mine goes to 99 or 98% when a fully charged battery goes in. Seems booting camera drops the meter a little. Also meter show battery drain faster than it really is.

Mine goes to 100% with nikon batteries, but not the blackmagic battery.

it does if i'm using the ikan battery plate. otherwise i use an external battery charger.

If you pay close attention to something like a charging phone, that last few percent take forever. And in some cases they never charge to 100%... They go into a trickle charge mode when they're close to full as a safety measure.

But don't worry 1% doesn't go that far anyway. I wouldn't agonize about the theoretical loss of a few seconds of record time...
