The 17.5~70 vignettes slightly up till about 22mm on the zoom.

I would assume most 16mm lenses unless specifically optically corrected for S16mm would behave the same way.

I can confirm that the ANGENIEUX-ZOOM TYPE 10X 15 B 15-150mm 1:2.8 (c-mount version) covers the sensor from 15mm to 150mm without any vignetting on the Pocket Cam...

It's a bit heavy so you will need some sort of lens support. Beautiful match for the pocket cam...

The 12 to 120 definitely vignettes.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

Doesn't need lens support. Its quite compact. It is a perfect zoom for the Pocket though and much sharper than the 12-120.

Anybody tried the Angenieux 9,5 - 57 ? That's an interesting piece of glass.

F.K.

Just to give you some more options.
Zeiss, Schneider,Cooke & Angenieux made some pretty good Arri C 16mm Lenses. Some of them Cover the full S16 Format and can be bought for very reasonable Prices.

Zeiss also made a 12-120 T2.2 lens for S16. (From what I know it is a modified version of the 11-110 for 16mm)
However this lens is a more expensive then the others however with a range comparable to S35 24-240 it should cover most applications.

Concerning the 9,5 - 57
It was mentioned in this forum that it vignettes below 12mm.

I love the Zeiss 12~120, which i believe is labeled "Optex," as that was the company which did the slight optical conversion. I used it on a short a while ago on an SR3 and after about a day with it it was what I just kept living on the camera, eschewing our standard speeds save for special shots here and there.
